Humanities Webinar
February 7, 2019Remote4- 5 PM

Interested in utilizing Health Humanities as a teaching strategy? Please join the NEGEA SIG on Health Humanities for our 3rd webinar on Thursday, Feb 7th from 4-5pm. We will explore an article that provides empirical evidence for the associations between exposure to the humanities and personal characteristics that constitute a well-rounded physician. Further, we will hear a podcast from a physician sharing a personal experience of how the humanities helped him foster a connection with a patient that likely otherwise would not have been there. Materials will be provided in advance in order for the webinar to focus on a spirited discussion of how science and the humanities work together foster healthier and happier physicians. Please join us! Use this ZOOM link to register and to receive pre-session materials. Feel free to email Leigh Ann (holterm@med.uvm.edu) with any questions.
