What We Do

The Tracking and Evaluation Core tracks the goals of the NNE-CTR and provides data to the Administrative Core on progress and outcomes across the network. We collect and report on performance data to inform leadership decisions regarding:

  • Meeting regional needs through NNE-CTR activities and network organization
  • Assessments of short- and long-term outcomes, changes, and impacts of CTR-sponsored activities and research at the individual, organizational, and community levels
  • Strategies for sharing successes and broadly disseminating efforts to promote peer learning, identify best practices, and document challenges and lessons learned

Our Approach

The Tracking and Evaluation team follows the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s program evaluation framework.

An NNE-CTR logic model guides the work, and logic models for each Core area are used to align activities and outcomes. Data reporting focuses on program activities, outcomes, quality improvement, and dissemination.

Mentorship Spotlights

These profiles spotlight some of the mentor-mentee pairings between senior faculty and our junior NNE-CTR members through our mentoring program dedicated to helping researchers advance in their fields.
