  • Individual sessions with the Director of Academic Achievement (in-person or remote)
  • Peer tutor services
  • Drop-in learner development sessions and workshops
  • USMLE exam preparation support and planning
  • Specialized referrals (Stern Center for Language and Learning, UVM Student Accessibility Services)

Academic Achievement services and programs help medical students actively develop:

  • Optimal learning and retention strategies
  • Cognitive and metacognitive skills
  • Integrated individualized success plans
  • Effective time-management skills
  • Test-taking and test-anxiety skills
  • Awareness, mindset, and learner motivation strategies
