- Finger stick glucometer monitoring - whole blood glucose monitoring
- Intravenous access
- Intravenous and oral glucose tolerance testing
- Medication administration
- Metabolic Weight and height
- Monitoring of oxygen saturation (02 sat)
- Observation/documentation of side effects
- One-on-one nursing care for intensive protocol needs
- Patient teaching
- Routine and complex vital signs
- Specimen collections: blood, urine, stool, sputum, saliva
- Specimen processing after laboratory hours
- Thermal Effect of a Meal testing (using Indirect Calorimetry)
