Residency & Fellowship
The University of Vermont Anesthesiology Department hosts six residents per year. All positions are categorical. The first post graduate year is a hybrid experience in Anesthesiology, Internal Medicine, Surgery and Emergency Medicine. The second, third and fourth years are focused on Anesthesiology training.
The Department also welcomes two Pain Medicine fellows each year. The Pain Medicine Fellowship, in the fifth postgraduate year, provides experience in the outpatient clinic and the inpatient consult service.
