    After graduating just over one year ago, members of the Larner College of Medicine’s Class of 2016 – along with medical school graduates across the country – participated in the Association of American Medical Colleges’ (AAMC) Medical School Graduation Questionnaire (GQ), a national questionnaire that serves as a tool for medical schools to use in program evaluation and to improve the medical student experience.

  • DeStigter Appointed Chair and Health Care Service Chief of Radiology

    Frederick Morin, M.D., dean of the Larner College of Medicine at the University of Vermont, and Claude Deschamps, M.D., president of the University of Vermont Health Network – Medical Group, have announced the appointment of Kristen DeStigter, M.D., FACR, as chair of the Department of Radiology at the UVM Larner College of Medicine and Health Care Service Chief of Radiology at the UVM Medical Center.
  • LaMantia Elected American Geriatrics Society Fellow

    Michael LaMantia, M.D., M.P.H., associate professor of medicine and section head of geriatric medicine at the Larner College of Medicine at the University of Vermont, was among 18 leading healthcare professionals honored as elected AGS Fellows at the 2017 American Geriatrics Society (AGS) Annual Scientific Meeting held May 18-20 in San Antonio, Texas.
  • UVM Stem Cell Conference Travel Scholarship Honors Alpha-1 Founder

  • Dr. Kennith Sartorelli Invested as Green and Gold Professor of Pediatric Surgery at UVM
    June 2, 2017
    Kennith Sartorelli, M.D., a professor in the Department of Pediatrics and the Department of Surgery at the Larner College of Medicine at the University of Vermont, and division chief of pediatric surgery and surgeon-in-chief at the UVM Medical Center’s Children’s Hospital, was invested in a formal ceremony on June 2 as the inaugural Green and Gold Professor of Pediatric Surgery.
  • Medical Reunion Celebrates and Honors Alumni from Classes of 1947-2012

    The Larner College of Medicine at the University of Vermont welcomed alumni from classes ending in “7” and “2” at Medical Reunion June 2 to 4, 2017. Highlights included an investiture ceremony for Kennith Sartorelli, M.D.’87, as the inaugural Green & Gold Professor of Pediatric Surgery; the Class of 1967 50th Reunion lunch and medallion ceremony; tours of the College and UVM Medical Center; and the Celebration of Achievements Awards and Recognition Ceremony.
