About Us
Message from the Division Chief
I am proud to serve as the inaugural chief of the Division of Geriatric Medicine and to lead such a vibrant and dedicated group of faculty. With Vermont soon projected to be the oldest state in the country, we know that we have a large opportunity to influence our patients' and families' lives for the better and help them live their lives to the fullest.
Our faculty provide primary care services and nursing home care to patients within Chittenden County, Vermont, yet we see patients in consultation from across Vermont, the Adirondacks, and the Northern Tier of New York State. We partner with our colleagues in primary care practices within the UVM Health Network to assist our health system meet the needs of our area’s growing population of older adults.
We are leaders in national professional organizations, talented teachers, investigators who push outward the boundaries of medical science, and compassionate advocates for our patients’ needs. We hope to have the opportunity to meet you.
