Preserving the passion for learning by sponsoring quality educational activities is the goal of Continuing Medical and Interprofessional Education at the Robert Larner M.D. College of Medicine/The University of Vermont Medical Center. Our programs provide opportunities for health care professionals to master what is new, gain fresh insights into the diagnosis and management of common clinical conditions, and share successes and challenges with colleagues. We offer accessible online learning opportunities for the health care team in our vLIFE Online Library, along with a full series of medical courses each year, ranging from half-day seminars for regional physicians to week-long national conferences and international scientific symposia.
Our educational activities include live postgraduate courses, lecture series, seminars, simulation lab training, web-based education and regularly scheduled conferences.

Our educational opportunities include: grand rounds, tumor boards, case-based conferences, and morbidity and mortality conferences. These activities are held predominantly at the Robert Larner M.D. College of Medicine and The University of Vermont Medical Center. Several of our conferences are made available via telehealth to regional facilities.
The Robert Larner M.D. College of Medicine is accredited by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for the healthcare team.
