    Research Interests

My research interests focus on three areas of clinical and basic science: the inflammatory complications of hematopoietic stem cell transplantation, the role of the bone marrow in circulating neutrophil homeostasis, and hematopoietic stem cell plasticity in derivation of pulmonary parenchyma during repair and remodeling.

  • Neutrophil biology
  • ARDS/ALI
  • Ventilator-induced lung injury
  • Bone marrow ablation & transplant
  • Adult stem cell biology
  • Pulmonary complications of transplant
