The Science
Exercise promotes the growth and development of the brain.

It helps children do better in school, with friends, and at home with family members.

It helps children with ADHD, anxiety, and developing mood problems.

Exercise has been proven to help symptoms of depression, mood disorders, and all forms of serious psychiatric illness.

Here are some ideas from families we’ve worked with:

Go for a walk with your child for 30 minutes a day. It will lead to healthy changes!

Play some music and dance!

Sign your kids up for local sports programs through their school or your community.

Learn to play inside - Do jumping jacks, jump rope, play catch.

Take your pet for a walk.
