2018 Research Symposium Poster Submission Form

 

Please email the 2018 Research Symposium Poster Submission Form and an abstract to Jacqueline Lawler

UVM faculty, staff, and students are invited to submit scientific posters representing their cancer-relevant research for the UVM Cancer Center's 2018 Clinical and Translational Research Symposium competitive poster session. Posters will be judged in two categories: (1) Faculty/Staff, (2) Post-doctoral/Pre-doctoral. Cash prizes will be awarded to a winner in each category.

All cancer-relevant research at UVM is eligible for entry. Two to three researchers with abstracts related to the symposium topic, Cancer Control in a Rural Environment, will be invited to have their work showcased at an open poster discussion just before lunch. Posters will be on display all day with an interactive poster session from 12:45-1:15 PM. Winners will be announced at the conclusion of the day.

To submit your poster, please complete the 2018 Research Symposium Poster Submission Form, including abstract, and email to Jacqueline Lawler.

The Deadline to Submit Posters is Sunday, April 1, 2018. This deadline has been changed from the original 4/6 deadline. Please plan accordingly.

Poster Instructions

  • The poster board assigned to each presenter will be 60 inches wide by 40 inches high
  • All posters must be one single piece of paper, and not multiple panels to be pieced together
  • Posters should be delivered to Jacqueline Lawler in HSRF 316 no later than Wednesday, April 18th at 12 PM. Posters submitted after this deadline will not be included in the poster session
  • A reminder that UVM Cancer Center members should include the UVM Cancer Center logo. Please email Jacqueline Lawler for access to this logo
  • All shared resources should be properly credited in the text of the poster
