Research
The Department of Pediatrics at the University of Vermont College of Medicine plays an important role in ongoing newborn and pediatric research. Our alliance with Vermont Children's Hospital at Fletcher Allen Health Care ensures that patients benefit from the breakthrough discoveries of a wide range of scientific research and clinical trials. The medical research that physicians at the College of Medicine are engaged in helps fulfill our community mission by making a difference in the lives of people we serve throughout the region.
Research efforts in our Department currently range from molecular genetics to clinical outcomes-based research involving pediatric offices and neonatal intensive care units across the state, the country and around the world.
