Diving Deep into the Ovary 

The 2017 Research Symposium was  held on Thursday, November 16 in the Livak Ballroom.  This was the 16th Annual Ob/Gyn and Reproductive Sciences Research Retreat "Diving Deep into the Ovary".   Our featured speaker this year was Catherine Combelles, Ph.D., Associate Professor of Biology from Middlebury College in Vermont.  She gave an excellent talk on "A tour of studies on oocyte and its follicular milieu: cows to women".

This year's annual symposium took place on Thursday, November 17, 2016 at the Livak Ballroom in the Dudley H. Davis Center. A variety of speakers from the department and the local area spoke on topics related to women and obesity, as listed in the Schedule of Events.

The annual symposium was held November 19, 2015 in the Davis Center’s Livak Ballroom. The focus of the event was A Framework for Excellence in Women's Health Research and details are available here. Richard A. Crosby, Ph.D. was the featured speaker, presenting "Screening underserved rural women for cervical cancer by testing for HPV:Will they self collect vaginal swabs in community settings?"
