ACS CAN is hosting Vermont’s inaugural policy forum focused on achieving health equity within our state.

On November 13th, American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network is hosting Vermont’s inaugural policy forum focused on achieving health equity within our state.

Speakers:
Mark Levine, MD - Commissioner of Health, Vermont Department of Health
Taylor Small - Director of Health and Wellness, Pride Center of Vermont
Andrea Villanti, PhD, MPH – Associate Professor, University of Vermont

Moderator:
Kesha Ram - Former State Representative, Vermont House of Representatives

Guest speakers will address rurality’s impact on access to care, disparities in cancer screenings and disparities in tobacco use. This is a critical topic that warrants robust discussion.
