Workshop and Fellowship Opportunities

Upcoming Workshop and Fellowship Opportunities
1. Professional Grant Development Workshop, Aug 5-6, Cornell: This intensive 2-day grant proposal workshop is geared toward those who wish to strengthen their grant writing skills, as well as beginners who wish to acquire and master the techniques of preparing and writing winning proposals to various funding agencies. The focus will be on how to effectively write proposals in times of keen competition and limited resources.  Workshop fee: $595 (in-person). Can't make it?  Online training version July 24 10a-4p fee: $395.

2. Data Incubator is an intensive 8-week fellowship that prepares masters students, PhDs, and postdocs in STEM and social science fields seeking industry careers as data scientists. The program is free for Fellows and supported by sponsorships from hundreds of employers across multiple industries. In response to the overwhelming interest in our earlier sessions, we will be holding another fellowship. Who Should Apply: Anyone who has already obtained a masters or PhD degree or who is within one year of graduating with a masters or PhD is welcome to apply. Applications from international students are welcome. Register for the in-person or online sessions, Sept 16 through Nov 8.  Deadlines to register is July 8 (early) and July 15 (final).
