mRNA Turnover Conference, June 28-29 in Montreal

Conference Co-Chairs, Dr. Imed Gallouzi and Dr. Jeff Wilusz, will be hosting the 8th RNA Stability Meeting.
Mechanisms, Regulation and their Implication in Infectious and Age-Related Diseases will be held June 25-28 at the Marriott Chateau Champlain.  Complete information is available on the event site.  Both National and International in scope, the meeting will feature Dr. Jack Keene as our Keynote Speaker. A James B. Duke Professor of Molecular Genetics and Microbiology at the Duke University in North Carolina, along with leading scientists and physician-scientists actively working in this area of research.

The 8th RNA Stability meeting will address RNA Turnover with discussions on mechanisms of translational control involving RNA binding proteins and MicroRNAs. Additionally, many of the invited and selected speakers, as well as poster presenters, will focus on the link between the RNA turnover mechanisms and their pathological ramifications.
