UVMCC to host Northeast Regional Genomic Instability Meeting 5/17/19

January 22, 2019 by Jennifer Smith

The UVM Cancer Center is hosting the 9th Annual Northeast Regional Genomic Instability Meeting in Burlington.

The University of Vermont Cancer Center will host the 2019 Annual Northeast Genome Instability and Cancer Conference on Friday, May 17th in Burlington. This collaborative meeting brings clinicians and researchers from multiple institutions together for an opportunity to share their research and discover innovative new ways to explore genomic instability and cancer.  Topics cover everything from single-molecule biophysics to whole genome approaches and clinical decision making.  This is an excellent opportunity for students to be exposed to many of the most timely facets of the genome instability and cancer field.

Frederick W. Alt, PhD -- an HHMI Investigator and a pioneer in the field of genomic instability -- has accepted an invitation to deliver the keynote lecture.  Please click here for more details and to register.
