Jensen Discusses New NIH Shared Services Grant on WCAX

(OCTOBER 2, 2020) Senior Associate Dean for Research Gordon Jensen, M.D., Ph.D., discussed the $5.4 million National Institutes of Health grant he received to support the creation of the UVM Center for Biomedical Shared Resources on WCAX-TV.

(OCTOBER 2, 2020) Senior Associate Dean for Research Gordon Jensen, M.D., Ph.D., discussed the $5.4 million National Institutes of Health grant he received to support the creation of the UVM Center for Biomedical Shared Resources on WCAX-TV, the local CBS affiliate. The new Center, which will be housed on the first floor of the Firestone Medical Research Building (currently under construction) will integrate five of the leading UVM laboratory-based, shared resource core facilities, including the Vermont Integrative Genomics Resource, the Vermont Biomedical Research Network (formerly the Vermont Genetics Network), the Flow Cytometry and Cell Sorting Facility, the Microscopy Imaging Center, and the Mass Spectrometry Facility. Watch the segment here.
