Dr. Helzer is a former flatlander from Washington University in St. Louis, he revels in the outdoor opportunities of Vermont including skiing, hiking, biking and tennis. He also sings with the Vermont Symphony and other local choral groups.

Research Interests:  Research in primary care settings, use of automated and web-based tools for care delivery, dimensional diagnostic classification, psychiatric taxonomy and DSM-V, cross-national psychiatric epidemiology.
