Frequently Asked Questions: Class of 2020

(Updated April 24, 2020)

What is happening with Graduation?

Graduation will occur virtually on May 17, 2020 and each student will have the opportunity to wear their free regalia and participate in a virtual hooding ceremony.  The graduates will be mailed their full regalia (a gift by the LCOM Medical Alumni Association) to wear during the virtually ceremony if they wish.  Students who wish to donate their gowns (either before or after the ceremony) to healthcare workers who may not have adequate personal protection equipment can do so.  See Gowns4Good, a program started by Than Moore, a PA in our Emergency department!  We are also very excited that our Graduation speaker, Dr. Joia Mukherjee, is able to participate in our virtual graduation as well.

What do I do if I am sick?

If you are sick you should contact Student Health Services (phone consultation and office visit free to all enrolled UVM students regardless of insurance) or your primary care provider to discuss your symptoms.

Who do I contact if I have questions?

Contact the Medical Services Team at StudentCOMServices (your question will be referred to the appropriate person) or sign up for a drop in meeting (see links below).
