(MARCH 10, 2020)  Tim Lahey, M.D., professor of medicine in the Division of Infectious Disease at the UVM Larner College of Medicine and director of clinical ethics at the UVM Medical Center, is featured in a WCAX-TV news story about UVM Medical Center actions and preparations for dealing with the coronavirus. Lahey says the lab is working overtime to process tests for both the flu and the coronavirus. He recommends people speak with their primary care provider before going to the hospital, and if you are sent to the hospital, call from your car before you arrive to allow for time to prepare.
