In support of improving patient care, The Robert Larner, M.D. College of Medicine at The University of Vermont is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.

As a Jointly Accredited Organization, the Robert Larner, M.D. College of Medicine at the University of Vermont is approved to offer social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program. Organizations, not individual courses, are approved under this program. State and provincial regulatory boards have the final authority to determine whether an individual course may be accepted for continuing education credit. The Robert Larner, M.D. College of Medicine at the University of Vermont maintains responsibility for this course. Social workers completing this course receive 6 general continuing education credits for conference use.

The AAFP has reviewed Vermont Geriatrics Conference 2021 and deemed it acceptable for up to 6.00 In-Person, Live (could include online) AAFP Prescribed credit. Term of Approval is from 04/01/2021 to 04/01/2021. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

This program is approved by the Vermont Board of Psychological Examiners for 6 hours continuing education for psychologists.  

The Vermont Office of Professional Regulation has approved this course for 6 continuing education hours for Nursing Home Administrators.

Determination of Pharmacotherapeutic Credit is pending. 

This conference includes 1 credit in Prescribing Controlled Substances and 1 credit in Hospice, Palliative Care, Pain Management.

Refunds may be obtained, minus a $25 administrative fee, if notice of cancellation is received by March 12, 2021.  No refunds are possible after that date.

Printed syllabus, paper evaluations and paper CME certificates will no longer be available.
