Back once again with the latest information relevant to dermatology, Advanced Dermatology for Primary Care is designed for the non-dermatologist and will focus on practical office dermatology. Primary care physicians, nurses, physician assistants, nurse practitioners and other medical professionals with an interest in dermatology are encouraged to attend. Faculty will present a wide spectrum of common dermatological problems and emphasize effective management. Ample opportunity will be given for questions during the lectures and at the end of each session.
Two intensive hands-on workshops featuring biopsy, excision, simple repairs, cryosurgery and electrocautery techniques will take place on Sunday morning. Participants will be expected to bring some surgical instruments. More detailed information will be provided upon receipt of your registration.
A live patient demonstration will be available at The UVM Medical Center to illustrate the injection of botulinum toxin for glabellar and forehead wrinkles (must have valid VT medical license to actively participate in the botulinum toxin workshop).
Exhibitors will be present at this conference.
