Overview

The conference is intended for dermatologists, although primary care physicians with a special interest in dermatology are welcome to attend. The course is designed to provide high-level continuing education for dermatologists, keeping them abreast of new and exciting findings in basic science, clinical dermatology and dermatologic therapy.

Objectives

1. Successfully implement acne treatment regimens which avoid the use of prolonged oral antibiotics.
2. Recognize and treat unusual dermatoses and tumors that you will nonetheless see in your career.
3. Correctly diagnose and properly treat diseases of travelers.
4. Improve your diagnosis and management of cutaneous vasculitis.
5. Be literature literate. Update yourself on the greatest articles of 2017.
6. Properly evaluate, diagnose and manage dermatomyositis.
7. Augment your abilities as a dermatologic consultant in the hospital.
8. Stay up-to date with new systemic and biologic agents in dermatology.

Ski Information

A single all-purpose voucher will provide a discount for each person who plans to ski (Nordic or Alpine) or ride, rent equipment, take a lesson and/or participate in any of the children's lesson programs. Pre-registration is needed for ALL adult lessons and Children's Camps and lessons. Only one voucher is needed per person, regardless of how it is to be used. Stowe Mountain Lodge is a Vail Resort. Epic Pass holders have unlimited ski access at all Vail resorts as described here.

The Stowe Mountain Lodge offers extensive recreational facilities and superb artisan cuisine. A world class spa, heated outdoor pool with indoor swim out access and full service fitness center are located on site.

To ensure room choice and availability, it is recommended that you make your room reservations as soon as possible. Accommodations often sell out during the winter in Stowe. There is a 10% state and local tax as well as a $15 daily parking charge. (The parking fee is for overnight guests only. Day participants can park for free.) Conference Syllabus

The conference syllabus will be available for download electronically (no extra charge). You may purchase a flashdrive with PDF versions of the talks ($25). Please plan to bring your laptop or electronic device to follow along with the presenters. Printed syllabi will not be available.  

Registration Fees

TUITION: Physicians $600 (on or before December 15th); Pharmacists/Nurse Practitioners/Physician Assistants $375 (on or before December 15th); Physicians-in-training $300. Please add $50 after December 15, 2017. Fee includes online course materials, continental breakfasts, breaks and reception.

REFUNDS: Refunds, minus an administrative fee of $75, will be made only if notice of cancellation is received in writing by January 10, 2018. Refunds are not possible after that date.
