IMPORTANT NOTE about the algorithm for returning to school following exposure/symptoms/illness: “COVID-19 in Pediatric Patients: Triage, Evaluation, Testing and Return to School.” The VDH Epidemiology team plans to further refine the language to clarify which students are eligible for this pathway (see slides 37 and 38). We will provide updates when available.

Mental Health and Wellness: “COVID Support VT: Supporting Wellness During the Coronavirus Pandemic.” Grant funded program offering mental health and wellness supports and resources. Three Support Counselors available by calling 2-1-1. All supports are confidential and free (information on CHAMP COVID-19 website).
The next call hosted by the Vermont Medical Society with VDH Commissioner Levine is Thursday, October 21 from 12:30 – 1:00 p.m. The calls will generally be the first Thursday of each month. There will be a few exceptions when they will be held the third Thursday of the month. VMS will also host a “COVID Hot Topics” the third Thursday of the month. Next “COVID Hot Topics” call is Thursday September 16. The topic: EUA for under 12; Back to School Update.
