June 30, 2023 - Call for Letters of Intent to Submit Proposals

July 14, 2023 - General Information Session on Application Process

August 1, 2023 - Letters of Intent to Apply Deadline (5pm)

September 1, 2023 - Acceptance Notification & Invitation to Submit Full Applications Sent

September 29, 2023 - Q&A Workshop for applicants on budget and other forms

November 1, 2023 - Full Application Submission Deadline

February 26, 2024 - Recommended Funding Decisions Announced to Applicants

March 9, 2024 - Meeting w/Project Leads who are recommended for funding, to discuss next steps, regulatory approvals, etc.

June 15, 2024 - Regulatory approvals and other JIT materials due

July 1, 2024 - Intended Project Start Date, subject to regulatory and NIGMS approvals


The current round of pilot project proposals is now closed, letters of intent have been reviewed, and results were shared on September 1, 2023. Those invited to move on in the funding process will hear from our Core Leads shortly.
