Carney Interviewed by WCAX about Toxic Metals Found in Cinnamon

(SEPTEMBER 20, 2024) Professor of Medicine Jan Carney, M.D., M.P.H., associate dean of public health and health policy, was interviewed by WCAX-TV for a story on toxic metals found in cinnamon.

(SEPTEMBER 20, 2024) Professor of Medicine Jan Carney, M.D., M.P.H., associate dean of public health and health policy, was interviewed by WCAX-TV for a story on toxic metals found in cinnamon. Carney suggests that people check the cinnamon they may have in their cupboards to see if what they have might be one of the types found to contain lead. “The goal is the prevent lead ingestion,” she said.
