- UVM Larner Med in a Time of COVID - Special Reports, Information, & Resources:
- UVMMC Access Restrictions Continue: Entrance to the hospital via the Davis Auditorium doors is restricted to all except UVMMC employees and those with hospital badge access due to screening requirements. The only option would be to enter through the hospital main entrances which allow mandatory screening. We will let students know if/when this changes.
- Additional Information: Currently, employees and badge holders are given the option to self-screen for symptoms prior to entering the hospital setting, which removes their need to present to hospital entrances for screening. At this time, no option to self-screen has been offered to non-employees or preclinical level students (nor is badge access to that door offered to anyone without a UVMMC badge).
- UVM continues to offer free COVID-19 testing on campus for students at the COVID-19 Information and Service Center. COVID-19 PCR testing remains available for all members of our community, and we have a significant supply
of rapid home antigen tests that are available free to faculty, staff, and students. Visit UVM FORWARD for additional information.

- If you are fully vaccinated: On-campus testing is available for all students and employees. Visit the COVID-19 Information and Service Center website for additional information...
- Mask requirements: In most areas, masks are optional. Keep masks accessible, as there are times and places in which it will be necessary to mask. For a list of areas where masks are still required, see UVM’s face covering guidance...
- If you are identified as a close contact: Watch for symptoms. If you do not show symptoms, you may choose to wear a mask when you are around others.
- If you have symptoms: Stay home and get tested. Do not come to work, to class, or to a UVM facility or location. Contact Student Health Services at 802-656-3350 to arrange safe testing. If you test+ for COVID-19 (UVM COVID Guidelines - PDF)...
