LCOMCares Service Corps
Convened by Christa Zehle, M.D., senior associate dean for medical education, and Nathalie Feldman, M.D., director of the learning environment, the LCOMCares Service Corps is a group of medical students, graduate students, faculty, and staff at the
UVM Larner College of Medicine, dedicated to collaboratively seeking out, organizing, and fulfilling volunteer needs within the local community.
COVID-19 Task Force
During the COVID-19/novel coronavirus pandemic, the Service Corps as convened a COVID-19 Task Force to specifically address the unique volunteer needs created by the social, financial, and medical upheaval associated with the pandemic. Throughout
the course of the pandemic, the group will meet three times a week to discuss ongoing efforts, vet new ones, and discuss the promotion of these efforts both externally and within the Larner community.
Misson
The LCOMCares Service Corps COVID-19 Task Force will help facilitate volunteer efforts and services pertaining to COVID-19 between the Larner College of Medicine faculty, staff, and students, the University of Vermont Medical Center, the College's
clinical partners, and the surrounding community.
