Dermatology Update for Primary Care is designed for the non-dermatologist and will focus on practical office dermatology. Primary care physicians, nurses, physician assistants, nurse practitioners and other medical professionals with an interest in
dermatology are encouraged to attend.
Faculty will present a wide spectrum of common dermatological problems and emphasize effective management. Ample opportunity will be given for questions during lectures and at the end of each session. Two
optional hands-on workshops will feature biopsy, excision, simple repairs, cryosurgery and electrocautery techniques.
In support of improving patient care, The Robert Larner, M.D. College of Medicine at the University of Vermont is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education
(ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.
The University of Vermont designates this live internet activity for a maximum of 11.25 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
