This year's forum will provide education to referring providers about cardiovascular and vascular disease, facilitate the accuracy of referrals and prevent delay of treatment which contributes to further complications and potential hospital admissions.

In support of improving patient care, The Robert Larner, M.D. College of Medicine at The University of Vermont is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) to provide continuing medical education for the healthcare team.

The University of Vermont designates this live activity for a maximum of 4 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

This program has been reviewed and is acceptable for up to 4 Nursing Contact Hours.

A small block of rooms has been reserved at the DoubleTree. Please make your reservations directly with the hotel prior to November 15, 2020 and indicate your participation in the UVM CardioVascular Forum to receive the UVM rate of $115 plus state and local tax for single or double occupancy. Reservations may be canceled without penalty no later than 7 days prior to arrival. Reservations canceled after these dates are subject to a cancellation charge of one night's room and tax.

Tuition Fees

Physician and Advanced Practice Professionals: $100

Nurses: $75

Walk-in registrations will incur an additional $50 fee.

Tuition fee includes access to an electronic course syllabus, continental breakfast, coffee breaks and lunch.


Refunds, minus an administrative fee of $50, will be made only if notice of cancellation is received in writing by November 15, 2020.  Refunds are possible after that date. However, you may substitute another individual in your place by calling the UVM CMIE office at (802) 656-2292 or emailing
