Times Argus Announces Prelock Online Teaching Award Winner Langdon Lawrence

(JANUARY 28, 2025) The Barre-Montpelier Times Argus has announced Langdon Lawrence, M.D., M.P.H., education assistant professor of medicine in the Division of Public Health, as a recipient of the 2024 Prelock Online Teaching Award.

(JANUARY 28, 2025) The Barre-Montpelier Times Argus has announced Langdon Lawrence, M.D., M.P.H., education assistant professor of medicine in the Division of Public Health, as a recipient of the 2024 Prelock Online Teaching Award for his course PH 6310 Climate Change Emergencies.

This annual award recognizes superior online teaching, provides a model of excellence for fellow faculty, and encourages all faculty to continue to improve and advance their online teaching pedagogy. The award originated during the 2021 academic calendar and is named in honor of UVM Interim President Patricia Prelock, an early adopter of online teaching at UVM.
