In her clinical practice, Dr. Heath cares for infants, children, adolescents, and young adults with all types of cancer. Her specific clinical interest and clinical research is in the care of adolescents with cancer. Dr. Heath also spends a large portion of her time in laboratory research, studying the molecular biology of aggressive pediatric leukemias, with the goal of understanding these leukemias better, and finding new targeted therapies. | |
