Dr. Michael Young received a BA in 1975 from Yale University. and graduated in 1982 from the UVM College of Medicine. While completing his residency in internal medicine at Kaiser Foundation Hospital in Oakland, California, he also trained as a Critical Care Fellow at Stanford. He continued as a Critical Care Fellow from 1985 to 1986 at the University of Pittsburgh. Before coming to UVM in 2000, Dr. Young was an instructor of Medicine at Dartmouth Medical School.
