A one-day, intensive course to introduce participants to the pedagogy, strategies, and resources for effective teaching and assessment. This event is open to all UVM College of Medicine faculty. An all-day education retreat featuring workshops on clinical teaching, social medicine, active learning, and resources for educational scholarship; networking; and a keynote session. NEGEA 2020 Annual Conference

Thursday, April 30-Saturday, May 2, 2020 
The Robert Larner MD College of Medicine will host the 2020 NEGEA Annual Conference. The NEGEA is one of four regional groups of the AAMC’s Group on Educational Affairs (GEA). Its purpose is to promote excellence in the education of medical students, residents and physicians through the professional development of medical educators. Regional meetings provide a forum for exchanging ideas, learning new strategies and developing plans that may facilitate your own work and the implementation of the NEGEA’s mission. Details and registration will be announced this fall!
