Research:
Dr. Laub has served as a member of the University of Vermont's Department of Surgery since 1997. During that time, he has served as a consultant with Central Vermont Hospital, Rutland Regional Hospital, and Northwestern Hospital. He also serves as the Medical Director for the Cleft Palate/Craniofacial clinic at the Vermont Department of Health. Dr. Laub has published over twenty articles in peer-reviewed publications and book chapters, and more than a dozen abstracts at scientific conferences. In 2008, Dr. Laub was awarded a one-month AO-ASIF (Arbeitsgemeinschaft fur Osteosynthesisgefragen - Association for the Study of Internal Fixation) Visiting Professorship at the University of Wales, Swansea School of Medicine. He will be working with the Professor Adrian Sugar in the Morriston Hospital campus in Swansea for August of 2008, learning advanced techniques in the treatment of the children with craniofacial anomalies.
