General OB/GYN covers a broad scope of practice. Research by generalist OB/GYNs tend to be in areas of expertise or interest to the individual researcher.  Examples here at UVM include research in vulvovaginal disease, ob/gyn infectious disease including human papilloma virus and other sexually transmitted diseases, early pregnancy immunology, colposcopy and medical student and resident education in OB/GYN.
