This program provides specialty evaluation and care of patients with cerebrovascular disease. The specific areas of interest include ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke, CNS vasculopathies, and related neurovascular disorders.  The clinic is associated with the Vermont Stroke Center, collaborative treatment center for neurovascular disorders staffed by a vascular neurologist, neurosurgeons, and a neuro-interventional radiologist.  Our research is directed towards understanding the pathophysiology of neurovascular disorders and developing acute interventional and prophylactic therapies.
