Patient Care
Disorders and diseases of the nervous system are diagnosed, evaluated and cared for by a multidisciplinary team of board certified and subspecialty fellowship trained neurologists, neurology residents, nurse practitioners, neurology nurses, social worker's, technologists and support staff. Our integrated care programs are designed to provide services in all aspects of neurologic care.
Additionally, collaborative care with neurosurgery, neuroradiology, and neuropsychology is an integral part of the service. Clinical expertise extends from common neurologic disorders and the interface with general medicine to subspecialty care in the clinical neurosciences and clinical research.
Subspecialty areas of clinical expertise include: Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias, epilepsy, headache, movement, inherited & neurodegenerative disorders (Parkinson’s disease & the Parkinsonian Syndromes, Huntington’s disease, cerebellar ataxias, dystonias and spasticity), multiple sclerosis, neuromuscular disease (including amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), peripheral nerve and neuropath pain disorders), stroke & other neurovascular disorders, paroxysmal disorders-including sleep, and pediatric neurology.
The Service is organized to provide integrated health care of the highest quality to patients, including situations requiring the full continuum of care.
