Education, Research, Clinical Care

Our Hematology/Oncology Division faculty are committed to the three pillars of state-of-the-art patient care: superior clinical care, research and an outstanding training environment. We treat patients with all cancer types, and those with benign hematological disorders.

Our goal is to provide every patient with the best possible care, delivered by highly trained providers, that care about every aspect of your experience.

Sprague Named Face of 2019!

February 20, 2019 by Chloe Housenger

Each year, UVMMC recognizes colleagues who embody the spirit of the University of Vermont Medical Center and consistently have a positive impact on the experience of our patients, families and each other.

The faces of UVMMC is the medical center's most prestigious recognition award. We are delighted that Julian Sprague, MD, has been recognized this year! Congratulations to him and the 31 other recipients.

Dr. Sprague says "Next to patient care, creating an educational environment for fellows that inspires them to come to work every day is the most important work I do."
