This morning, the Boston Globe reported on results from two opioid prescribing-related studies published today in JAMA Surgery. In the article, "Rules to control opioid prescribing don't always work as intended, studies say,"  UVM Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology Melissa Covington, M.D.,speaks about the importance of "gathering data on the effects of policies and guidelines."
