Funding for a Personal Care Attendant (PCA) may be granted to you through the PNS or RAVNA, if your child is under the age of 21, Medicaid/Dr. Dynasaur eligible, and it is determined to be "medically necessary" as a result of your child's medical condition, disability, or mental health condition. Personal Care Services are services related to a child's physical care requirements, such as assistance with eating, bathing, dressing, personal hygiene, and other activities of daily living. An application needs to be filed with the appropriate agency, and the funding comes from Medicaid.
