Community Access Program

Strongs Avenue
Rutland, Vermont 05701
802-775-0828

The Community Access Program provides a variety of services for people with developmental disabilities, traumatic brain injury, mental retardation or autism -- assisting them to achieve their personal goals. Services include case management, residential services, day services, supported employment and family support services. Flexible Family Funding (FFF) may be obtained for children who are considered to "have a significant delay in cognitive functioning". Funds are provided on a funds availible basis. Eligibility for funding is based on family income and size. Up to $1,122 per year can be used as needed by the family. An additional amount of FFF, up to $3,000 per year, is available for children with greater needs. FFF can be used at the family's discretion towards services and supports that are in the best interest of the child and family (ie. family respite, special needs & services not paid for by insurance, family trips, appliances).
