There are several different options for supporting Madi's Fund and hydrocephalus research, prevention, and treatment. Decide how you'd like to make a difference, then make your gift today!
Madi's Annual Research Fund - Ideas and insights abound, but many neurosurgeons identify a dire need for more funding to carry out the research projects that may result in large discoveries. Each year, contributions to Madi's Annual Research Fund will provide seed money for research projects related to the causes, prevention, and treatment of hydrocephalus and associated pediatric neurological disorders.
Madi's Endowment Fund - When fully funded, interest from the $1.5 million endowment will provide 1) stable operating support for on-going research into the causes, prevention, and treatment of hydrocephalus and associated pediatric neurosurgical conditions and 2) support for a highly qualified pediatric neurosurgeon at the UVM College of Medicine/FAHC who will be available to care for children suffering from hydrocephalus in Vermont and Northern New York.
Pediatric Patient Family Assistance Fund - Local fundraising events in Vermont and New York also support the Patient Family Assistance Fund at Fletcher Allen Health Care. This fund helps parents of pediatric patients with financial assistance for lodging, food, medical equipment, etc. while their child is sick or undergoing medical treatment.
Volunteer! It's fun, rewarding, and critical to the fulfillment of the Madi's Fund mission. If you'd like to help with friend-raising and/or fund-raising for Madi's Fund, contact Debbie Jarigue at (802) 773-6186 or madifund@aol.com.
