Waldron Lecturer Connor Presents with Panel on Patient- & Family-Centered Care 9/14 at 8 a.m.

The University of Vermont Cancer Center is hosting two events as part of the Waldron Lecture series on Tuesday, September 13 and Wednesday September 14, 2016 featuring Maureen Connor, R.N., M.P.H., an oncology nurse and leader in the field of patient- and family-centered care.

The University of Vermont Cancer Center is hosting two events as part of the Waldron Lecture series on Tuesday, September 13 and Wednesday September 14, 2016 featuring Maureen Connor, R.N., M.P.H., an oncology nurse and leader in the field of patient- and family-centered care.

Connor presented on "Patient- and Family-Centered Care in the Oncology Setting" on September 13 from 4 to 5 p.m. in the UVM College of Medicine's Sullivan Classroom (Medical Education Center 200). On Wednesday, September 14, beginning with breakfast at 7:30 a.m., Connor will facilitate a panel presentation from 8 to 9 a.m. on the same subject, including patient advocates and providers.

The event is made possible by the Sean Patrick Waldron Hematologic Malignancies Fund, which supports research and education in the area of blood cancers. Donna and Marty Waldron, who both volunteer at the UVM Medical Center and Cancer Center, and their family are long-time supporters of the UVM Cancer Center.
