PINK ZONE CHARITY BASKETBALL GAMES: UVM Women's and Men's basketball teams play to support cancer research and education programs at the Vermont Cancer Center (VCC). Wednesday, February 10 at 7 pm, the UVM Women's team plays Boston University. February 14 at 2 pm features the UVM Men's team against the University of New Hampshire Wildcats. Games,are part of a nationwide WBCA (Women's Basketball Coaches Association) Pink Zone™ breast cancer awareness initiative. Events will feature pre-game presentations with the Vermont Cancer Center and Green Mountain Coffee Roasters, and proceeds from apparel and accessories sales, a pre-game silent auction, and half-time raffles will be donated to the VCC.
